Web 2.0 is not the Future of Education (Joe Lee)

As the development of web 2.0 is fast, alot of games and social networking tools affecting our new generation. How can they study in a playground or game centre?

  1. Here are some reasons why to use Web 2.0 in our classes:

    * It increases the creativity. Students can create their own videos and upload to youtube. They watch youtube more than TV now.

    * It's collaborative. It is easy to create a blog or wiki nowadays. And students feel free to use these web 2.0 technologies.

    * It allows student centered learning. Students have fun with web 2.0 technologies so it is more efficient in teaching.

    * It provide freedom to study. Students could learn whenever they want.

    * It helps our students to become familiar with technology by engaging.

    * We can collect alot of more ideas and information if we use web2.0 in education.
